Five North Stars Selected in OHL Draft

The North Stars would like to congratulate five of our players from the 2007 – 2008 team for their successful OHL draft, which was held on Saturday May 3.
We are all very proud of your accomplishments.
The players selected are:
David Quesnele in the second round by the Peterborough Petes.
Christopher Buonomo in the third round by the Peterborough Petes.
Gregory Sartoretto in the eighth round by the Sudbury Wolves.
Nicholas Romano in the twelfth round by the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.
Corey Jackson in the fourteenth round by the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.
In Great North Midget League news the league had another successful OHL draft with a total of twelve players being drafted.
The Sudbury Nickel Capital Wolves had five players selected, the Nickel City Sons had one player selected and the North Bay Trappers had the lone remaining player selected.
